POCKETWORK POLICY
Refund & Cancellation Policy
You can request a refund within 14 days of a payment or renewal. You can cancel anytime and keep using the service until the end of the period you have paid for.
Published: September 28, 2026 · Effective: September 28, 2026
1. Scope
This policy applies to paid subscriptions to the PocketWork service provided by PocketWork (owner: GyeongGwan Nam, “we” or “us”). Free use for up to 10 employees involves no payment and so is not subject to refunds.
2. Who processes payments and refunds
Our order process is conducted by our online reseller Paddle.com. Paddle is the Merchant of Record for all our orders and handles payment, tax calculation, receipts and refund payouts. Approved refunds are returned through Paddle to your original payment method. The Paddle Buyer Terms apply together with this policy.
3. 14-day refund requests
- You may request a refund within 14 days of your first payment or your most recent renewal.
- When we receive a request, we review the payment, how long and how much the service has been used, and the reason, and decide whether to refund the full amount or the unused part of the period. Submitting a request within the 14 days does not by itself guarantee a refund.
- If a workplace that has just upgraded finds the service isn't right for it and asks straight away, we will generally refund in full.
4. Full refunds regardless of timing
- You were charged more than once for the same period (duplicate charge)
- You were charged an amount different from the price shown
- You were charged after scheduling a cancellation
- You could not use the service properly during a paid period because of an outage we are responsible for (refund of the affected period, or an equivalent extension)
5. When a refund may be limited
- The request is made more than 14 days after the payment or renewal
- Most of the paid period has already been used
- Refunds are requested repeatedly, for example by re-subscribing after each refund
- Use was restricted because of fraudulent payment, fraud, or a serious breach of the Terms of Service
6. Your statutory rights
This policy does not limit any right of withdrawal or refund you have under Korean consumer protection law or the law of the country where you live. Where the law gives you better rights than this policy, those rights prevail.
7. Renewal and cancellation
- Paid subscriptions renew automatically at the interval shown at checkout (monthly by default).
- Cancelling stops the next renewal. You can cancel anytime from the subscription page in your account or from the link in your Paddle receipt email. Cancel before the next payment date to avoid that charge.
- After cancelling, you keep full access until the end of the period you paid for. You then move to free use. If you have more than 10 active employees you can't activate new ones, but existing employees and records remain.
8. Changing subscribed seats
The price is based on the seats you subscribe to and does not change automatically with the number of active employees. Adding seats charges the prorated price for the rest of the current period immediately. Removing seats keeps your current seats until the period ends and lowers the price from the next billing date, so amounts already paid are not refunded for the removed seats.
9. How to request a refund
Email [email protected] with the details below. You can also contact Paddle directly by following the instructions in your Paddle receipt email.
- Your account email and workplace name
- The payment date and Paddle order number (shown on the receipt)
- The reason for the request
We usually reply with a decision within 3 business days.
10. Refund timing
Approved refunds are returned through Paddle to your original payment method. It usually takes 5 to 10 business days, depending on your card issuer or bank, before the refund appears.
11. Your data
Cancelling or receiving a refund does not delete your workplace data. Deleting a workplace or account is a separate request and cannot be undone, so download the clock-in and attendance data you need as CSV first.
